U18 Beach Volleyball European Championship
Foça will welcome Europe’s rising beach volleyball talent on September 17–20, 2026, as the U18 Beach Volleyball European Championship brings young men’s and women’s teams to the Aegean coast. The event will give U18 athletes a strong international stage, where speed, teamwork, sharp reactions, and mental focus will matter on every point.
The 2026 competition format will follow the structure introduced in recent seasons, with qualifying rounds leading toward the Finals and Main Draw. That means every match will carry real pressure. For young players, Foça will not only be a place to compete; it will be a place to gain experience, test themselves against Europe’s best, and take an important step in their beach volleyball journey.
Foça will make the championship feel even more special. Known for its historic texture, stone houses, windmills, ancient sites such as the Temple of Athena, the Kybele Open-Air Temple, the Archaic Wall, and its calm Aegean coastline, the town will turn match days into a full destination experience. Visitors can follow the games, walk through Foça’s streets, enjoy the sea air, and taste local favorites like seafood, Aegean herb mezes, sea beans, Foça yogurt, and mastic ice cream. Even if you are not playing, you will still want to be here—because Foça will turn youth beach volleyball into an Aegean weekend of young energy, ancient history, sea breeze, and local flavor.
