Alaçatı Windfest – PWA Youth & Junior Slalom World Cup

Alaçatı will bring the next generation of world windsurfing to the Aegean on October 7–11, 2026, as the Alaçatı Windfest – PWA Youth & Junior Slalom World Cup takes place at Çağla Kubat Windsurf Academy. Set in one of Türkiye’s most iconic windsurfing destinations, the event will welcome young athletes across U21, U17, U15, and U13 divisions for five days of speed, control, and high-energy slalom racing.

The program will feature both Fin Slalom and Foil Slalom, bringing two different race characters to the water. Fin Slalom will highlight explosive speed, board control, sharp turns, and direct contact with the chop. Foil Slalom will add a more technical and futuristic rhythm, with athletes lifting above the water and managing precision at pace. For young competitors, this will be a valuable international stage where talent, timing, equipment control, and race confidence will all matter.

Alaçatı will make the championship feel bigger than the race course. Between sessions, visitors can experience the town’s stone houses, cobbled streets, windsurf culture, beach clubs, Ilıca’s thermal waters, and the wider Çeşme coastline. The food side will be just as strong with Çeşme kumru (Çesme Signature Warm Gourmet Sandwich), mastic desserts, local herbs, artichokes, seafood, and long Aegean dinners. Even if you are not racing, you will still want to be here—because Alaçatı Windfest will turn youth windsurfing into an Aegean sports week where wind, speed, young talent, turquoise water, and coastal life all move together.
